Did you ever almost get side swiped by some guy who was initially behind you? Then he swooped up next to you and then pulled up right in front of you? Was there a whole lane ahead that gave plenty of room for his or her lane change, yet the hurried driver rushed in front as if his car was being chased?
Elders say ~ "Well, Don’t Road Rage it USO - Toko! Take it easy and stay calm"
In most cities, everyone knows that on certain days of the week like weekends, people have been known to drive much more aggressive. Know your city and her roads, carry a map of course, even if you have an electronic device.
One important thing is to not be afraid to plan out a safe detour route through possible reoccurring hazard areas. Planning out routes can save time, possibly money, car accidents, malfunctioning red light ticket cameras, and can also avoid the late for something Road Rager. Know at least a few routes that can be taken to your main driving destinations in case there is traffic. That way if you can see people are driving nuts, you can switch to your detour route.
For what ever reason in the world, its not worth it to get in a wreck just to get to work. The solution is to just get up earlier. People in a rush sometimes think that it’s possible to shave 5 to 10 minutes. off by going 50 yards ahead of the slow guy, but it never does anything. In fact, most times the one rushed, stops at a red light, and the guy going the normal speed limit catches up.
If by chance you're late, you’re just late, just man-up-to-it. A company surely isn’t going to pay for personal car damages acquired on the way to work. The consequences of what could happen in a wreck, verses a simple stern explanation to your boss, should be taken into consideration.
All in all, it’s not worth the time to even think about fighting on the roads, there are kids on the roads, mothers driving kids to parks, pregnant women, or women with newly first born, there's the student driver, fathers providing for their families, senior women and men, just don’t take the chance, and Don’t Road Rage it.
