Japanese Anime a continued favorite for Polynesians in both Generation X and Millennials

Fist of the North Star movie 💥1986 by Toei Animation

Anime has hit the Asia Polynesian Pacifica culture very well as Japanese Theology and Mythology are very similar to Asia Outer-Oceania Pacific cultures. Polynesians who admire Japanese Anime have been mostly found in Generation X (1965-1980) and Millennials (born between 1981-1996).

What's the difference in Japanimation and Cartoons
The difference in Anime or Japanimation  and Western Cartoons is Anime has been produced for adult and family audiences and considered a creative Fine Art form, while in the west, cartoons like 😸Tom and Jerry were limited for child audiences. The importance of the art form is viewed completely different in Japan with Japanese artists having a claim on its invention .

Popular Anime
In the 1980s it was hard to find good Japanese Anime in the west before there was online streaming video starting in the 2000s. It was just in 2007 when more online platforms with streaming video were popping up with online MMORPG gaming. Since then the Anime lover numbers have boomed with sites like CRUNCHYROLL able to show Japanese talents to wider audiences.

One of the most famous Anime Series in the west was Naruto which was released in 2005. The series Naruto became so popular and ran so long, the older versions were remastered to be able to give new generations a chance to join and enjoy the series with both Generation X and Millennials. The series Naruto has 220 episodes while Naruto Shippuden has 500 episodes. Then there are the Naruto movies which is another long list and when Generation X and Millennials became fatherly ages, a Naruto as an adult and his son was released (Boruto) with more in the making. Crunchyroll.com and now Netflix has some of the beginning episodes of Naruto. Other western anime favorite series from the 1980s to the mid 2000s include Bleach 2004Dragon Ball Z 1989, Berserk 1997, Inuyasha 2000, Pokemon 1997, and 💀 Death Note 2006.

Popular first Anime Movies
If Anime is a new experience there's a lot of catching up to do. There's a huge range of new series out these days with amazingly entertaining content like the series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 2019 but in order to really know the difference in quality and understand what should be expected, many fans would recommend to watch past Anime Big Hits. The movies listed below will help start any new explorer dive into the fascinating and entertaining world of Japanese Animation.

WARFRAME: DRY DOCK Plat Scam during Christmas 2019?

Warframe has been a game known to push the limits of FTP Gaming, however, since the 2019 Dry Dock implementation to the DOJO for the new update, customers are complaining of a PLAT (in-game currency) scam by DE. The complaints try and address a building problem in the DOJO where many have already spent real money.

COMMENTS
"There is no DOJO map to see where to build the DRY DOCK, so what happens is after you've built long corridors and elevators to create new space, you can still end up with the message - NO SPACE. This wouldn't be problem if it didnt cost so much to build new parts of the DOJO or if one could see where mistakes are being made"

"I've spent 200 plat on building. Keeps saying no space, no space, no space. Yes I could keep trying to build up, build longer corridors, but thats not going to happen. I want either my plat back or I want the DRY DOCK right now. This is in my mind a scam and to do it during CHRISTMAS is just unforgivable"

"I tried to find a Moderator and complain in Regional chat to get some help and nothing came. There is no guide for players to build the DRY DOCK and after someone spends plat it really does seem like a scam"

"These people put so much money into making events like TENNOCON and then can't even create a DOJO map that shows where a DRY DOCK in the DOJO can be built so to reach the new update. Either they're scamming people or they're truly a bunch of idiots"

"Youtube videos by the players are trying to help other players build the DRY DOCK. Wheres the God Damn help from the game itself?"

"No one has time to spend 24 hours to build a single DOJO part, just to find out 24 hours later that you have to build another part, wait 24 hours, then another and another, this could take a month just to find a place, if there is one, for the DRY DOCK. As of now it's a SCAM"

"This guy in the regional chat told me to go to the forums to wait and talk. WTF - no one has time for that crap. Forum chatting and wait for a response for a week or whenever"

Electric Cars are here - Can the Diesel Car industry survive in 15 years | DW Documentary

Change is here and its impossible to go back, says Pacific Islander tech student. DW Media has been releasing helpful insight into some tech areas like the Car Diesel Industry, the documentary being mostly about Germany wanting to go back to being a leader in Automotive, and how nations like Norway and China want to be fully electric in the next 11-15 years.

In Britain, even their greatest vehicles had German engines, so most of the west is hoping an electric-car role comes from the German Industry soon. While in some nations, Electricity is an expensive monthly utility and going higher in price, in other nations leading the future, it's being routed into millions of Cars and smart houses powered by new battery banks and the natural free-energy from Solar tech.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Beta: Bad Reviews?? Still a possible good future

Unfortunately, the ultimate game with the ultimate potential just 6 months ago has died down to an almost complete empty and boring mix of servers. Someone said it best when they called the game, 'Ghost Town RDR2'. Rockstar was said to have in it's possession a winning lottery ticket, the problem is, they not only didn't cash it in, but they seem to have turned it into some type of online National Park, with strict rules and poor General Management by the in-game staff.

Most complaints began after the very first real update. Instead of taking the game to new heights, mission glitches remained, all interaction within the towns were broken by spawning players long distances when killed, rank was harder to obtain, and there was still no reason to level past 90 rank, with players only able to buy tattered clothes in the most faded shades.

It's been said that the only way the game keeps afloat these days, is to grief their own customers, and hope that anger to retaliate, keeps the gamer playing.

Comment "The landscapes in the game are amazing, totally amazing, I love the way the game looks, it's beautiful, but.. it's almost like it was made by a group of genius gamers, then managed by a bunch of money hungry idiots who do not care at all about it. People have waited months for a single decent update. No one can even play the missions, the missions glitch in-game. All there is now is bot fighting with their boring showdown series"

Comment "Glitchy game just like GTA-V"

Comment "It's boring after a few days, maybe 2 weeks tops. Grinding alone. No one talks, I might as well be playing offline"

Comment "It was fun when it first started, but now... no. It's hella boring now, and they're not fixing the game to make it better, they're making the game HARDER, so that it takes longer to rank up. So lame. Making a game harder when people are already complaining... who is in charge over there"

PS4 Beginners in Ark: The Survival Dino-game to Buy

Welcome to ARK on console and a gamer's paradise for Jurrasic Adventures! A place to build your survival home, capture Dinos, raise and breed Dinos, and evolve your character into a futuristic tech-age. The ARK game has now a reputation of being "An interesting mix" but that may change very soon if the company can't create a playable game without lag spikes

Ark is very imaginative and combines a kind of Minecraft and open world Dino-play. Ark with all it's faults though has amazing potential, but real gamers have seen many games with potential who end up in the junk. Be prepared for servers with trash builds from players who no longer play the game or who have moved to other servers, and Wall trolls trying to take over large areas. Get ready as well to be scared in the dark from unknown creatures, attacked from behind, beautiful landscapes, Dinosaurs who fight to the bitter end, advanced housing builds, lag spikes, and to have a neighbor who might ruin your 2000 hour hard built house by building a depressing Prison looking headquarters next door.

Quick Tips:
1. An Official Server is controlled by the game
2. PVE is a game where no one can attack your base and people build
3. PVP is where your base and resources can be stolen
4. Any server that does not say Official is not controlled by the game

Which map to choose?
If you just bought Ark Survival Evolved and wanted to try out the game before getting too serious, then most go for The Island Map in a beginners PS4 server, but note that in beginner servers there is a rank 24 limit and you will have to transfer one day. Watch out for Raptors. The Genesis Map takes an extra $35.00 USD which might be an option (its a gamble, might be less congestion, might not).

How to pick a Server?
The best way to pick a server is by knowing the type of game you want, either PVP or PVE, and which map, then making sure the PING works for you. The Lag will be a big factor in your choice and a big problem with the game is that you have to go to each server and just try it out.

Starting the game
To survive in your first session, begin by combing the beach or an area with water because new characters need a water resource. Death in the game by DINO predators is common, and even though a player may die continuously at the beginning, he or she is still leveling up. Within your inventory by pressing "O" on the controller is where you will find your Health stats, and by clicking the "plus sign" on your attributes, you will level up and get ENGRAMS. Get to know the inventory menu and the options, ENGRAMS are in the upper top mid section, study them to unlock building and hunting features. Once a player has unlocked a few things, start to build a home and begin advancing out of a primal state.

"The game looks amazing when it's not filled with garbage buildings. The creators of the maps did a very very good job. Since there is so much to build and own in the game, 70 players per server is WAYY too much and lags the game. 20 players per PVE server sounds more like it "

" I have a base and the Dino's spawn inside my gates. FIX IT ARK. Whats the point in building a gate if the DINOs spawn inside my f*kin base and kill my new tames"

"When players leave a server, their buildings should auto demolish. but players who are logging in weekly, need their buildings to stay without worry"

"The game spawned a 50 ton BRONTO inside my fully closed DINO pet space"

"This game made my kid very happy but then made him cry for hours. The Official server, not another player, killed alllllllll his 12 pets in PVE - spawned a DINO inside his pet pen in Valguero Map sever 1139. Who does that to kids??? Kids get really attached to pets. This server pin-pointed his pet pen and killed his pets"

"Transferring servers should not be a Mission of it's own. It's unclear for many players how to transfer servers and take pets"

"You'd think the Official SERVERS to be the most reliable, since it says Official. THEY ARE NOT. It's a troll-fest. A smart person will learn quick that the game is unplayable. Most youtubers on the game have to pay for a private server and act like they earned it on official"

"This is why I stick to games made by JAPAN. Any idiot with a computer can make a game that just kills the player. I trust Japanese companies far more to have a pride in their creation, it's part of the culture. If a game's Corporate Headquarters is in an area with cut-throat losers, then guess what the game will be like. The only information on Studio Wildcard Company that owns ARK is that the people in charge are in lawsuits with each other"

"This game should be called SERVER FINDER"

"Think of it like GTA-5 online with moders who spawn things out of thin air, Prisons everywhere, and with Dinosaurs and jungles"

"I have a neighbor who builds like a child in PVE. Now I have to move from the trash. Players please keep your bases neat and use the building techniques to make Home like bases. STOP building prisons! This is NOT Prison Craft people!"

"Taming the Dino I understand takes time, for a level around 145 I can see it taking about an hour, but not 2 hours, no no no, and in no way should it take 3 hours. I caught a 145 and after 1 hour and a half, it was only 30% tamed. That means it would take 3.5 hours total to tame, wtf is this game thinking??? No one has 3 hours, this is 2020!!! So many games online, get your sh1t together ARK. I killed the DINO by the way I did not wait and no one else should either"

"Great  Game with great potential, needs work though. I'm looking forward to the game advancing"

"One of the biggest attractions to the game is Taming Pets ~ Here's what will happen, it takes forever and a day to tame, then after your hard earned efforts, the game will kill it. After you've spent days building a secure enclosed pet pen, they will spawn things inside the building to kill your pets. The people who run this game are twisted and it's really a type of sick abuse. I want my money back right now"

"All I wanted to do was start playing and building, is that too much to ask after I just bought the game? I started in an OFFICIAL PS4 beginner server PVE (The Island Map) and was able to build a house after about 15 deaths from Alpha Raptors and a lot patience. Come to find out the beginning server has a rank LIMIT of 24. So I can not advance and will have to switch servers. I'm looking for a new server but all the PVE servers with good connection have been TROLLED to the max with endless WALLS blocking new players from water. Whoever made this game was not prepared for the retarded WALL TROLL, which is a person or clan who just builds walls around the whole map blocking resources"

"This game is awesome and I couldn't stop playing for days, but I was in a beginner server. I want a clear server PVE"

"I think the company that runs this game is AFK"

"WOW, havent seen this much lag since the 1990s. It's bad. How the hell did this game get on PS4? The world of gaming is moving toward VR and ARK can't even manage lag, it's just sad. I would be ashamed to own this game in the condition it's in. It's like an old house that makes the neighborhood look trashy"

RED Dead Redemption 2: Review Amazing accomplishment

Although there were very old controversial angles played in the story of the game, people still understood it's very "ROCKSTAR" style, in how the story unraveled. The graphic work has been said to be "Top notch". Reports on sales says it took under four days to out-sell it's first version RDR1.

"The Gameplay Graphics, beats most new 2018-2019 Game TRAILER animations. That's how good the in-game graphics are compared to some new releases. It's well worth the money, a piece of country frozen in time, playable on your PS4 or XBOX."

"I never thought I would play an OLD Western film style game on PS4, but this is quite something. Rockstar has really out done themselves"

"Get ready to be AMAZED! This should be Game of the Year twice in a row! I cant wait to see whats in store for this game in the future"

"I can't wait for the online version, I just hope the new Online RDR2 version won't be disrupted with online hacks and MODS like in GTA5. No matter what though, the offline version is the best in 2018, thank you I had fun."

How to fix: Unable to download patch files [20512], [25008], [20495] - FFXIV

According to online complaints Square-Enix has not acknowledged an American download issue, yet the company itself is not at fault says tech help. Customers with brand new Play Station 4's and who are FFXIV players, cannot get into the game because of patch error updates.

HOW TO FIX:
Samoan Tech Help: Ok, there are quite a few threads out there complaining, all saying that about the last hour they get several error patch messages saying unable to download. Now heres what to do... you are going to have to setup a new internet connection on your PS3 and or PS4 > Go to settings > Find Setup New Internet Connection > Keep everything the same.. don't change anything except the DNS Primary and Secondary, just flip through, enter your wifi pass if you have to, auto, auto, do not specify blah blah, until you hit DNS Primary and Secondary > Now, if you have numbers there already, feel free to write the numbers down before you replace them. They should look something like 71.10.216.2 something like that. > Now you're going to replace them with 8.8.8.8 as the Primary and the Secondary as 8.8.4.4 got it? > Continue on don't change anything > then at the end, test your internet connection to see if it went through. Done.

I can understand that people with less tech experience will be scared to do this DNS public server change, but it's GOOGLE's and it's PUBLIC. FFXI before FFXIV was the first MMORPG and used to be a Japanese, Euro, and American "PC only" game, so older gamers are very used to these tech hic-ups between nations. Welcome to the real gamers world. And once you're inside FFXIV, don't buy Gil.

Now what did you just do?
-You just changed your DNS Server to an open public Google one.
-Here is a list of Public DNS Servers to help your research.

Can I change it back?
Yes some people just change it back once the download is complete, some just leave it on the open public Google DNS Server to play FFXIV. If I were you I'd leave it.

Why did the original connection not go through?
It's because some overseas Networks are technologically behind Japan's Networks, and are 10-20 years outdated. So there's a problem when the super Japanese communicate too fast and too advanced. In about 10-15 years this problem might become much worse if other countries can't keep up with Japanese Networks, which are top-notch, and have amazing internet speeds. Some areas in the US. - Canada, Mexico, and Britain, are just now getting Fiber Optic cable, a tech that was released in the 1970s.

Playstation Network: Connection timed out - How to fix

The Samoan Nerd Blog

According to some customers complaints, their Playstation console refused one day to log-in to the Sony Playstation Network. The problem caused some confusion as customers thought that meant the network was down. Thinking the network was down, some waited days, weeks, and in some cases, where maybe it was a young owner, they threw the console away.

If your system says: Connection timed out. Try this.
First check your Router. Reset your Router if you play a cross-platform online game, someone may have attempted at triggering your Router Firewall, booting you offline. These people who do this are sometimes called Booters. Games get heated and people cheat. There is a little hole in the back of your Router big enough for a toothpick. Either get a toothpick and stick in it the hole and hold it for 30 seconds, or unplug your Router for 30 seconds.

Samoan Nerd: "I woke up and the system wouldn't log-in. I thought well the Playstation Network must be down, but that is so a rare thing, that there must be some news on it right, nothing when I checked. I searched online for more news, and typed... Connection timed out....a few forum pop-ups resulted. I read the threads and they said to reset your system. Some posts said their system was down for days, weeks, gladly I found how to fix it faster. The forums said to RESET your system, the firewall was triggered so you need to do a router reset. It worked. Me, the Samoan Nerd wins lol. Yay!!! back to playing FFXIV."

If Resetting your Router doesn't work you might have to reset your Playstation to it's default settings, but if you press 'Restore System', this will erase all saved data, pictures, games, background themes, apps, and libraries. So make sure you press 'Restore default settings' and try that first.

Go menu
Go System Settings
Go Restore Default Settings
Press Restore Default and follow instructions

Why did I need to restore Default?
If you're playing a competitive online game, hacks, cheats, and trolls may have triggered your firewall to spring up. Delete all the fake friends on  your PS4 list, trolls know when you log on.

"So, anyway..This is the Samoan Nerd Blog, signing off! Who can't wait for that Sony VR? Oh ya baby, it's on."

Simply Log into your PS4 System and on the top menu Go Communities. Gaming is the most fun way to keep up-to-date.

"Once someone starts gaming they usually get into hardware first. The gamer might want to build their own Super gaming computer, upgrade monitors, and their Computer-station setups (Setup Wars on Youtube), or just buy and set-up glowing game Keyboards and Headsets with Classic-style metallic Radio mics. Custom Hardware and nice comfortable Gear is a gamer's pastime and could even become his or her business. Career and business opportunities are vast and growing in gaming and it's hardware"

How to pick a Blog Template

Picking the right Blog Template, is the first real test. The template is based on the purpose of the Blog, and it's been suggested that the template be ranged well, or measured up, something able to be handled by the user.

What does a News Blog Template have?
The older News Blog Templates generally had an enormous amount of options with a Flash scroller to the top right or to the top left. It was also possible in the past that the Flash scroller didn't work. These days however, just the standard Blog has a Flash scroller and quite a few options on the top bars by the header section, and most all Flash scrollers work, if not, it's possible that it was downloaded on a malfunctioning site. As time has gone by, Blogger Templates have changed quite a bit to have much greater options, and stable code.

Should I use a basic Blog Template?
A basic Blog Template usually has about "2 long sections" on the front page. The posts will be on one section [usually the left] and then on the right side it's free to put anything else you want.

The second section could be a Youtube video bar, Subscribe buttons, list of labels, etc. The Basic Templates are great to start out with when first starting to Blog. Most people get tired after a time of the same front page and eventually want more section containers to put pictures, videos, or just more information content.

Journal and Hobby Templates are fun?
Mostly the Journal and Hobby Templates are all just for fun, and can have wild colors, and even pictures of puppies to heart shapes that make the Blog fit the writer's interests.

Research and Portfolio Blog Templates work well?
Blogs can be customized, so using some of the “Basic Template Designs” and then customizing it to fit your display needs, can be best for people who want to run a Blog for a social group or a portfolio. The reason for this is because the News Blogs have too many options, and the Basic ones have too less options, but the thing is the Basic ones are clean cut and contemporary, and adding an extra section or 2 and a container isn't usually a problem.

There are some already made Portfolio Templates online if you're looking for something to display your Art, or a project that needs sections for photos with options to enlarge etc.

How to get the Template on the Blog?
Go to the Template online that you've chosen and look for a button to download it, sometimes clicking on the Template picture brings you to the download screen. Downloading will bring the file to your computer and usually in you “My Documents” file. When you find that file on your computer, UNZIP the file, and your Template will be inside. Then go to Blogger “Home interface” after you log in and select “DESIGN” tab, then click on “EDIT HTML”, there you see a bar to allow you to upload that Template file to the Blogger website. Upload the Template and then check your front page.

How to start a Google Blog - Tips

Starting a Blog is a great way someone today can be creative. Many things are involved in creating and producing a Blog that can lead a person to other personal projects.

Great things about Starting a Blog
1. You can practice all forms of writing on your blog.
2. Blogging can be a voice, which every person has a right to have
3. Interested personal research can be read and feedback can be taken
4. Sharing interests can connect you to others in social groups
5. Experience, the experience that it takes to run some greater produced Blogs are equal and sometimes more advanced than general websites. This in turn can be a type of portfolio for jobs like Journalism, Editing, Producing, Graphic Design, Web Design, 3d-Rendering etc.

Where do I Blog?
The more favorited places to have a trusted Blog by this Blog, is Google Blogger. Simply go to Google and search "Blogger" if you can't type in the "http", and setup an account. Setting up is easier if you already have a Google account.

With Google Blogger theres no fees, and if later a ".com" address is needed, it's an easy new setup.

How do I start making it an entertaining Blog?
It takes some planning to run a Blog which is why creating one helps in developing a variety of skill sets.

Learn and get used to what your "Home Interface" does - Posting - Comments - Settings - Design - Stats - and Monetize. Obviously "Posting" tab is where people Post new subjects, so at the very first start people have an area they can start getting to know better.

Writing content might be the next issue. Some people have a lot to write about..some maybe not so much. Some subjects can be far more in depth than others, and can lead people to more than they bargained for. Be assured that if it's your first Blog, just something very casual might be best, with casual subjects, and a casual design.

One of the more fun steps though before going all out on the front page is to set the actual Blog design up. This will lead you to choosing a Template for your Blog. Templates are all over the Internet just by searching Google Keywords like "Blogger Template" or "Free Blogger Template". Some templates are more complicated than others, but all can be worked with, with some XML researching.

To get the Template into your Blog: Download the Template. The Template will usually just go into your "My Documents" file, then you'll have to UNZIP the file.

When you UNZIP it and look inside, you'll see your Template file. After that go to the "DESIGN" tab in your "Home Interface" inside your Blog online and then you'll see the tab "EDIT HTML".

After clicking the "EDIT HTML" tab you'll see a place at the top to upload your UNZIPPED Template file. Simply upload your file and save it. Then check your front page and other design boxes.

I am in the Fine Arts, and am self taught. Creating Fine Arts and being able to display it online, such as making a website or an online portfolio, are two very different areas in media that can be difficult for artists who are tuned into their specific craft.

I was pretty new to editors in 2005-6, and the first thing I downloaded was the gimp version for Adobe Photoshop, which ended without purchasing since at the time I expected the online Art portfolio project was going to be a smaller one. During that time to get some art "online" I photoshoped a few studies pretty horribly and tryed to slap it on with a background, some with a framed border.

The result was pretty off and I eventually took down the older attempts. While researching some online tutorials on Youtube on how to work with drawing Tablets, and other basics in Graphic Arts, I also looked into other editors for some of my new community projects that needed some fun visuals.

The searches brought me over the years to a long list of download-able Editing Freeware, Software for Pro-Graphic artists, also after awhile to new Open-source Software products, and online editors.

Some of the community projects were social groups and needed things like the group's profile image, and online banners and flyers for events. That's when I found and tested Picnik, comparing the editor with other online editors.

Picnik was in my opinion the best out of them all. The stickers that allowed people to play with shapes, the different fonts, the borders, all were very fun, and very helpful in making images and editing works.

I made so many playful visuals, buttons, banners, for the groups made for community and gave them away, which are still free in social groups and in some blogs. I can now after some time in editing and design, make various visuals for online Events, Topics, Discussions and more.

I also eventually edited photos in Picnik I took of my Art which were for my "life gallery" in my online portfolio. Graphic Arts is now another area of arts I can say I will grow in.

Picnik has been very useful and Thank you.

Resource: New social media and silencioSlap

Youtube is lucky to now have Eni Laione Maake online with his funny channel. The channel started out slowly with a few funny faces and some jokes. Then it busted out with more home editing and photoshop, making it a real entertaining Youtube channel. It's really nice to see the Polynesian humor online, if this channel doesn't make you laugh then ya might have to get your happy nerves checked out.

If you're thinking about making your own channel and having a videoblog, then theres some things you might want to check out. One software that's usually the first to experiment video editing on, is Windows Movie Maker.

To get the feet wet, check out The U.S. Government Photos and Images , which is usually an eye opener of what's possible to be created. Other sites that help are AtoZtheUsa,Wikipedia: Public Domain Image Resources List, and NASA Commons

Samoa Blog writers take an interest in new Facebook forum in 2010

Facebook has so many social groups, many of them for fun and leisure, but with new group formats, some have taken to Facebook with a more educational interest. Any forum or social group is a valuable tool, and should not be taken for granted. Facebook hasn't been labeled a popular site for Samoan, Tongan, or Maori talks, but it can be a useful platform for writing groups or study groups, maybe even a great place for sharing on Anthropological discussion.

The Bloggers Samoa Facebook group was first created in 2010, and was the first of it's kind trying to connect other Pacific bloggers and writers. The creation of "Bloggers Tonga" and "Bloggers Maori", soon followed that same year.

Oni Featherman "All three Facebook groups work on participation, so if there's nothing new, it may need some updating by it's members. Don't be discouraged for any lack of participation in any group. Theres always a benefit to good effort, always successful if one can learn from the project results

I would like to say these are study groups for inspiring Pacific writers. We've posted some free pacific themed buttons to spark conversation. Currently with the booming internet trends, we are discussing website templates using HTML 5 and XML, also new operating systems, useful and less useful. There was a talk on new open-source software for Word Processing that used to cost $300.00 in 1999, but is now a free online download. Tech talks include an upcoming apple iPad.

If you're looking for other Pacific study groups inside Facebook, there's the groups Samoans in Architecture, Samoan Biography Club, Mana History, The Polynesian Sculpture Challenge, Polynesian XXL Food, Tongan American Sports and many more. We do not know how long we will be running these projects though, and if groups end, feel free to restart the topics under new management."

For more information on Facebook groups, add Oni Featherman as a friend on Facebook or any managing discussion lead.

◘ Health Interests

#1 tip Trust in Medical help has lowered since year 2000, especially when it comes to Cancer Treatments. Promises unkept for cures and breakthroughs in new research never applied, or with poor results, for over 40 years has raised skepticism. Following the most advanced tech nations instead of relying on easy access convenient hospitalization has been recommended for those looking for better medical help.

#1 tipA Community report says to "Beware of TAP WATER" [Tap Water can be Dangerous]. Outside the island, there are industrialized cities with real toxic issues. On the surface the City may have great rides, food, highways, and parks, but have under it all "toxic or environmental health issues" due to old Landfills and Water Infrastructure being ignored. If an area has a waste smell, the ground nearby could be a covered over Landfill where a town has expanded, buried the old one, and moved to a new location. Buying clean bottled water is an important choice, and will save a person's health.
◘ Community Interests

#1 tipPacific Islander American Community report on "Banking Overdraft Schemes" which resequence transactions on lower income accounts to make the accounts overdraft. In the Banking Scheme, transactions are being posted in an order that benefits the banking fees, and costing the customer possibly hundreds of dollars. The Banking Overdraft Schemes have been reported to still be attempted. Keep your money in a trusted Bank. Do not just sign up to any bank.

#1 tip Check out your local Library for community events. Also a Library can subscribe to Polynesian Newspapers and Magazines so that you and your kids can read them. Organizing a way to have books and media content (movies and news) able for your community to check out is important. Organize your local Library on how to get things started. Classes in public school are also being asked by local community for more Pacific languages and culture to be taught.
