Nigel Owens accused of cheating by Samoa Prime Minister
The Samoan Prime Minister announced his amazement at the lengths the assigned referee Nigel Owens would go to, to help the South African team win against the world class team of Samoa. Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi and the rest of the vast Pacific Rugby fans were disgusted at the calls made by the Welshman refereeing in what seemed to be his own personal World Cup Championship.
It was reported that Eliota Fuimaono Sapolu even later discussed the fowl calls on Twitter to get feedback from other Rugby fans and from other sportsmen. It was discovered by main stream media later on that David Pickering was Chairman of the IRB committee, which last April assigned referees to World Cup matches, who is also responsible for Nigel Owens being planted to sour the Samoan World Cup match.
A representative of the nation of Samoa also released a statement on 12 decision calls by Nigel Owens including a late red card on Paul Williams for striking.
Other issues came into light about Northern Hemisphere teams doping (mostly in Wales) which also brought to debate that the three teams Scotland, England, and Wales represent the same nation, the nation of the United Kingdom, and even though they were once separate nations, they are not officially separate nations today. The IRB was put on the spot, that this whole time in each World Rugby Tournament, those teams have been taking advantage of the use of "three" World Rugby spaces, with other Rugby nations only having "one" spot at the World Rugby Cup.
