Posturing to the World seems to be a current British pastime, but this time, France and the European Union seem to have had enough, making sure that the British leave the EU as proposed by BREXIT plans while also showing the world that with a flip-of-a-switch, the UK are literally powerless on their southern borders. Prime Minister of Britain Boris Johnson said on September 20th, 2021 that relations with France couldn't be stronger, and has now been called out on his statement since there are talks of serious retaliatory measures by French Government. Jersey residents of the UK did not vote for BREXIT, but seem to be the ones who will pay the most for the on going political disrespect along with other English channel fishing areas.
"The English Channel could easily become The French Channel, and no amount of issued permits or licenses against the French could prevent it. Fishermen in the English Channel areas have regretted BREXIT since seeing that the COD fish and other junk fish (compared in seafood quality to other markets), which are the main catches, are not exactly beloved favorites overseas or anywhere else in the world, and it was only the European Union who were buying it out of trade relations"
"If your neighboring nation exposes a border weak point to the entire world, that should be considered a serious statement, but Britain just keeps playing it off, as if sending ships in the region will fix the problem and not make it worse. This is what happens when people weaponize their National History, your own people don't know up-from-down, right-from-wrong"
"When noble prospect and American and British beloved actor John Cleese said he would leave his own British motherland in 2018, that should have been the wake-up call as he was disappointed in his national BBC press and the nation's politics, posturing, and using scare tactics"
"The British play to the idea of a European Union while making way for their own agenda. They never subscribed to a real peaceful and progressive future of both Europe and Eurasia. What seems to be going on is Britain still wants all the benefits of the European markets, without having to join and be liable to politics within the European Union, which would defeat the purpose of having a union of members in the first place"
"Look at the News now, Britain using the same ole lame media tricks. They call the European Union the aggressor, they say we have to attack an aggressive China, now they're saying France is being too aggressive and threatening the UK. Next they'll start on The Republic of Ireland"
After Britain boasted an AUKUS PACT (an Anglosphere Alliance) with the United States and with an anti-Chinese Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia, ASEAN leaders and many other Asia Pacific nations stepped forward as did the French Government.
