FFXIV fails again Housing issues for gamers: Angry customers 4.2 update

Once again gaming customers waited for FFXIV to open up and let people buy Houses for their characters, again, just like last time, and the time before that, people were very angry that they waited 6 months for an update on housing, just to see every house be taken by trolling GIL sellers. With the GIL sellers still using character names no one has ever seen or heard from on day-to-day game play. The anger however shown how much the gaming community truly craved the FFXIV housing. Final Fantasy XIV remains today, the trailblazer in online gaming Housing, and has the best MMORPG living regions ever created.

FFXIV player "This is ridiculous to spend money a month on a game, yes FFXIV, takes real money a month to play. I pay for a subscription to play a game I can't fully play Square Enix? The game uses an in-game money called GIL, you level up your character and gain GIL, you craft items and sell them to gain GIL, well the main thing to spend your GIL on is housing, housing decor, housing skins, housing out-door decor, but the idiots ran out of houses! Housing is half the game-play. Housing has inside the gardening feature, chocobo storage lvling, inventory spaces, and song collecting. I want a HOUSE!"

FFXIV player "The best Body-gear is done by questing, so you don't really spend  your GIL on Body-gear unless it's low lvl gear which is really cheap. The best weapons in the game too are done by questing and missions, so you don't really buy weapons. The only damn thing to spend my GIL on is housing! but theres no houses?"

According to Notes by Square Enix the following below is true for the Housing situation at the moment. These update notes can be found online for update 4.2. The question is, are customers already too angry to care if they fix it or not, and will the Final Fantasy name be ruined in the gaming community. It is clear that some people already don't care about the notes and just want the problem fixed ASAP.

Notes sent out by FFXIV 4.2 update
*Plots designated for free company use will be limited to purchase by free companies with at least four members. Individuals will be restricted from purchasing plots for personal use for a limited time.

* Following the release of 4.2, we will evaluate the housing market and decide when to remove the restriction on sales to individuals.

* Players may still relocate private estates. Players will be permitted to own only one private and one free company estate per World per service account.

* Players may still relocate any private or free company estates they presently own. To discourage the resale of plots, any plots relinquished by owners will be unavailable for purchase for a limited time.

* During this period, said plots will still be available for relocation.
